After what seemed like an eternity, the big dayfinally arrived. On June 17th, 2008 the Prophet of the Church issued a mission call to Jason. Now in the mailbox was an envelope which would hold Jason's future. With his friend coming over (Nathan who had recently received his call to serve in California) we placed a conference call so the girls (who were at BYU-Idaho) and their friends could hear the news.
Jason has been called to serve in Mesa, Arizona!!! A little shocked, scared and tons of mixed emotions, Elder Mace entered the MTC on September 3, 2008 and will spend the next two years serving our Heavenly Father in Arizona!
